How to compare skins beyond their rarity badge
Build a useful skin shortlist by comparing appearance, effects, animations, included extras and unlock routes.
Separate three kinds of rarity
A brawler rarity describes the character’s category. A skin rarity describes a cosmetic tier. Scarcity describes how difficult an item is to obtain. Those are not interchangeable: the brawler’s rarity does not determine the tier of every skin, and an expensive cosmetic is not automatically exclusive.
The catalog also groups default looks, special skins, collector items and pass-related cosmetics. These navigation groups should not be read as a single price ladder. If your goal is to find every look for your main, start on the brawler page rather than excluding groups by rarity.
Turn a feature list into a decision
The Model and Texture entries help you distinguish an appearance change from effects and animation changes. Visual effects describe presentation during play; animations describe movement or action presentation. A static render cannot demonstrate either fully, so preview the skin in the game when possible.
Use the feature list as a shortlist, not as a score. A skin with more listed features can still have colors or animations you dislike. Missing metadata also should not be treated as a definitive statement that a feature does not exist.
- Choose two or three skins for the same brawler so the comparison stays meaningful.
- Check each detail page’s Features list and included cosmetic links.
- Preview attacks and animations in-game where available; our artwork is not a playable preview.
- Compare the actual unlock route and current offer only after choosing the designs you like.
Keep related artwork separate from bundle contents
A related pin or icon is useful for building a coordinated profile, but a link to it does not prove it is included in the skin purchase. Likewise, a collection can connect items sold in different ways. Confirm the bundle contents rather than assuming all artwork on a related page is part of the deal.
Our rarity overview includes the in-game feature chart as a visual reference. Treat the chart as a starting point and the individual preview and offer as the deciding evidence. This approach is particularly useful for comparing highly customized skins without assuming every item in the tier has identical extras.
