How to read a cosmetic page and spot an uncertain claim

Know the difference between listed value, confirmed unlock route, collection membership and first-seen update information.

CollectionConnects items by a theme or catalog grouping.Assuming all items are sold together.
First-seen updatePlaces a record in an update period when known.Calling it an exact shop release date.
FeaturesDescribes listed presentation changes.Treating the render as an animation preview.
Asset IDIdentifies the record when reporting a correction.Using the number to infer rarity or player ownership.

Read identity before availability

Start with the name, brawler and artwork. Some families contain nearly identical names or multiple recolors, so verify that a search result is the exact version you mean. The brawler link takes you to the character’s full set, while the collection link gives you a wider theme across cosmetic types.

Next read How to obtain alongside Availability. One describes a route and the other can describe a current state. A reference price is a separate field. It is possible for a record to have a price while its original release is no longer obtainable.

An update period is not a shop calendar

A first-seen update tells you when the catalog associates an item with an update. It does not establish the day the item appeared for sale, when a collaboration began, or whether it has returned since. Sorting by newest is useful for discovery but is not a list of live offers.

If you are documenting a skin’s history, keep three dates separate: announcement, first availability and later reruns. An exact release date needs evidence naming the item and date. Where that evidence is absent, an honest unknown is better than assigning the update’s first day to every cosmetic.

Send a correction that can be checked

A useful report includes the page URL, the field in question, the proposed correction and a dated source. For a shop issue, include the variant name and conditions visible in the offer. For an artwork issue, explain whether the render belongs to another recolor or is failing to load.

We prioritize official Supercell support and announcements for rules. Catalog records and manually classified availability are maintained separately because neither is a complete history of every offer. If a classification lacks enough evidence, it should remain uncertain rather than being promoted to a permanent rule.

Sources and scope

Official rules are linked below where applicable. Comparisons and collecting workflows are Brawl Cosmetics guidance, not a Supercell endorsement or a guarantee of a future offer. Site examples describe our catalog and tools at the editorial date above.
